How long does a starlight kit installation take?+
Most starlight installs take a full day, depending on star density and whether you're also changing the headliner material at the same time.
Will the fiber-optic strands be visible during the day?+
No — properly installed fiber-optic strands are essentially invisible in daylight. They only show once lit.
Can I choose the number of stars, or add shooting stars?+
Yes to both — star density is one of the first choices you make, from a subtle scatter to a dense galaxy look, and shooting star fibers can be added as an upgrade that animates independently from the main star field.
Does ambient lighting run off the same system as the starlight kit?+
They're separate systems with separate controllers, but both are RGB and both can be run from a single app if you get them installed together — you're not stuck juggling two remotes.
Will ambient lighting drain my battery or affect factory wiring?+
No. The install taps into a low-draw circuit and doesn't touch or override any factory wiring or controls — your existing electronics work exactly as they did before.
Is it removable, or is this a permanent modification?+
Both kits are designed to be removed cleanly if you ever sell the vehicle or want it out — nothing is permanently altered on the interior panels themselves.
Are there color restrictions I should know about?+
Interior ambient lighting and starlight kits aren't visible from outside the vehicle, so they don't fall under the same exterior-lighting color laws as underglow or headlights. If you're unsure about your specific situation, we're happy to talk through it before you book.
Will my factory controls still work after either install?+
Yes — both installs are built around your vehicle's existing wiring and controls. Nothing factory gets disconnected or overridden.
