How A Repair Actually Works
Most headliner problems come down to two things: the foam backing breaking down (causing that sagging, drooping look) or the fabric itself being torn, stained, or sun-damaged beyond cleaning. We remove the headliner, strip the old material, and either re-glue and refresh the existing fabric or fully re-cover it in your chosen material — factory-match or custom suede — over fresh backing so it doesn't sag again. Everything goes back in with the same factory fitment it came out with.

Almost always heat. The foam backing behind the fabric breaks down over years of sun exposure, especially here in Sonoma County, and once it loses its bond the fabric starts to droop. It's not something you can glue back permanently — the backing itself needs to be replaced.
Can I match my factory color, or do I have to pick something new?+
Both are on the table. We carry a factory-match fabric line in the neutral tones most vehicles use if you just want it looking new again, and a full custom suede line if you'd rather change the look entirely.
Do I need a custom-fit sunroof spoiler, or will universal work?+
Universal deflectors reduce wind noise just fine and cost less. Custom-fit sits flush against your exact roofline for a cleaner, more factory-looking result and slightly better noise reduction at highway speed. If you're on the fence, we'll look at your specific vehicle and give you a straight answer, not just upsell the pricier option.
Will a sunroof spoiler void my sunroof's factory seal or leak?+
No — the deflector mounts to the roofline around the opening, not to the sunroof glass or seal itself, and installation doesn't involve drilling. Every install is cycle-tested (opened and closed) before your vehicle leaves to confirm there's zero interference.
How long does either service take?+
A universal sunroof spoiler is often same-day. A full headliner replacement or a custom starlight build takes longer since it involves removing interior trim and hand-installing material — we'll give you an exact timeline once we see the vehicle.
Can I add a starlight headliner later if I just get the fabric redone now?+
Yes — fiber-optic starlight kits install into the headliner material itself, so a fresh fabric job now doesn't rule it out later. If there's a chance you'll want stars down the road, mention it up front so we can prep for it during this install and save you from redoing work later.
